The Role
Join our passionate transdisciplinary therapy team and experience the adventure of making a real difference across the stunning Kimberley region.
At Far North Community Services, no two days are the same — you’ll provide therapy in our well-equipped local facilities, visit participants in their homes, and travel to some of the most remote and beautiful communities in Australia.
We’ll make sure you’re supported every step of the way — including professional 4WD training so you can confidently explore dirt tracks and river crossings in our company vehicles, and the chance to fly by charter plane to reach remote, culturally rich communities that few people ever get to see.
You’ll work with both children and adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, supporting people with a wide range of disabilities to live their best lives.

Requirements
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and full registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- All levels of experience are welcome — from new graduates to seasoned therapists.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with a genuine respect for working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
- A curious, growth-oriented mindset and a willingness to keep learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
- NDIS Worker’s Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- A current driver’s licence — and a sense of adventure helps, too!
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum two, three recommended).
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
