About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our small and growing team. This flexible mobile role offers the opportunity to provide assessment and intervention services to children with a diverse range of communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for paediatric clients
- Deliver evidence-based intervention tailored to individual needs
- Support children presenting with:Speech sound disorders
- Language delays and disorders
- Fluency (stuttering)
- Orofacial myofunctional disorders
- Social communication difficulties
- Developmental conditions
- Early literacy challenges
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and intervention
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
- Motivated, proactive, and self-directed clinician
- Fun, engaging, and positive approach to working with children and families
- Values work-life balance and flexible working arrangements
- Experience or willingness to work collaboratively with daycares, teachers, schools, and families, providing functional, holistic support for children with a range of communication difficulties, including neurodivergent and complex clients
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Commitment to family-centred, evidence-based practice
- Willingness to travel locally within a designated service area
